AT&T; is permitting visitors to its Phone Center stores to send faxesat no charge to anyone stationed in the Persian Gulf.

In Howard County, the Phone Center is in The Mall in Columbia and is open Mondaythrough Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Those who wish to contact members of the military in Operation Desert Storm should have the recipient's rank and name, Social Securitynumber, unit or ship, and APO or FPO address.

Postal Service officials say the minimum information needed for a mailing address is: Recipient's name, rank, Operation Desert Storm, APO 09848 (land-based) or FPO 09866 (on ship).
