A 28-year-old Arnold woman told police a male friend abducted and assaulted her Christmas Eve.

The woman told police she came home at about 5 p.m. last Monday to find a man she had been dating for a few weeks inside her house. Her roommate had let him in.

A few minutes later, the woman received a phone call from another man, and the suspect became angry, started yelling and hung up the phone. The man called back, and the suspect answered and started arguing.

The woman told police she tried to leave, but the suspect put an 8-inch knife to her neck and forced her into her car. When she tried to escape, the man told her, "If you try that again, I'll slice your throat," the police report says.

The report says the woman tried to escape again at a traffic light on Ritchie Highway and College Parkway, but the man grabbed her hair, forced her out of the car and banged her head several times against the ground.

The woman said she told the man she had to pick up a bike at K mart at Jumpers Hole Road. Before going into the store, the woman told police the man said, "If you try anything in the K mart, I won't hesitate to kill you in front of all these people."

Then the man drove her to his home in New Carrollton, where he let her go, the report says. Police are still investigating.
