Penn State will close all grass lots around Beaver Stadium for Saturday’s game against Maryland, citing wet field conditions exacerbated by 11 inches of snow last week.
Parking for the regular-season finale will be limited to paved lots near Beaver Stadium and to alternative sites in State College. Additionally, the overnight RV lot, which was open for the Nov. 10 game against Wisconsin, will be closed Saturday.
Penn State recommends fans not to bring RVs unless they have permits for a paved lot.
Parking permits will be honored at a series of off-site locations, including Grange Park, the Nittany Mall and the Penn State golf courses.
Lots will open at 8 a.m. Free shuttles to Beaver Stadium will begin operating at 11 a.m. and run until about 60 minutes after the game. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
