Third man arrested in Laurel home invasion

A third Laurel man has been arrested after police continued to investigate a home invasion robbery last week in the Parkview Village mobile home community in Maryland City.

Oyedayo A. Olatoye, 20, of  Sudlersville South in Maryland City, was arrested Aug. 30 and charged with armed robbery, burglary, assault and theft, after members of the Western District Detective Unit and Special Operations Division executed a search warrant at his home. According to Anne Arundel County Police, property belonging to the victim was recovered at Olatoye's home.

According to police, at 10:12 p.m. Aug. 22 officers were dispatched to the unit block of North Gail Street to a report of a home invasion. Police said two armed men entered the residence of a 60-year-old woman by force. Police said the men ransacked the home and stole property from the residence before fleeing in an unknown direction.

On Aug. 23, Anne Arundel County police  arrested Daniel Raymond Adams, 19, of 230 block of Spring Gap South in Maryland City; and Deshawn Pugh, 19, of 8800 block of Hunting Lane in South Laurel, who face burglary, armed robbery and other charges in connection with the Aug. 22 crime.

Detectives executed a search and seizure warrant at Adams' home after matching the address to a suspect vehicle. Detectives located stolen property at the home and arrested Adams and Pugh.

Police believe there are no other suspects in the Aug. 22 home invasion.
