Attend a classical recital with soprano Sharon Cheng, Sunday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. at Montpelier Arts Center, 9652 Muirkirk Road. Known for her comic talent and high notes, Cheng recently starred in two sold-out performances of Lucia di Lammermoor for Baltimore Concert Opera. She has also successfully portrayed a wide variety of operatic roles.
Cheng is one of the winners of the 2013-2014 Classical Recital Competition. Winners were chosen by a committee of members of the U.S. Army Field Band from Fort Meade.
