The Laurel Board of Election supervisors will hold a public demonstration of voting machines on Thursday, Oct. 29 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Laurel Municipal Center, in preparation for city elections on Nov. 3.
Council Clerk Kimberley Rau said the city will use machines from New Jersey Electec Election Services for the electronic voting machines and printing of paper ballots on the day of the election. The company will then scan the paper ballots on Nov. 4.
