A PTSA/PTA/PTO Presidents' Breakfast will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Fairland Sports and Aquatic Center's Storm Water Management Building.
The breakfast is open to presidents and executive board members of parent-teacher organizations in Laurel-area schools, and is being held to inform parents about upcoming events and the new Common Core standards. Parents will have an opportunity to speak with Prince George's County Board of Education Chairman Segun Eubanks and Deputy Superintendent Monique Davis. Curtis Valentine, the new parent appointee to the board, will also be present.
