Enjoy "A Walk Down Memory Lane" at the 18th-annual Needleart Exhibit, which opens Saturday, Nov. 2 and runs through Sunday, Dec. 1, daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. [closed Thanksgiving Day], at Montpelier Mansion, 9650 Muirkirk Road.
Sponsored by Stitching Pretty, this juried show features pieces of needlework including beading, knitting, smocking, crochet, embroidery and cutwork. Also demonstrations on various needle art techniques, call for dates/times. Vendors of needle art supplies and jewelry will be on hand.
Attendees can cast a vote for the People's Choice Award. Judges choose winners in several categories. Ribbons will be awarded. Cost for adults is $6; seniors ages 60 and better $5; ages 17 and under $3.
Opening reception is Friday, Nov. 1, from 3 to 7 p.m.; ages 12 and older.
