Prince George's County police have arrested a 41-year-old man for the fatal shooting of a Capitol Heights resident last week inside a Laurel home.
Alvin Vaughn, of no fixed address, was charged with first-degree murder and is currently being held at the Department of Corrections with no bond.
On Nov. 20, officers found Gregory Myles, 46, with gunshot wounds inside the home after they were called to the 13200 block of Deerfield Road around 9 p.m. Police said Myles was pronounced dead at the scene. During the ongoing investigation, police said they learned the two men were acquaintances who had been arguing before Vaughn shot and killed Myles.
