Last Thursday morning, winter decided to announce spring's arrival with a confetti of snowflakes. Although spring tried to sleep-in like a tired teenager, it seems to finally be making a groggy appearance. The signs point toward warmer weather ahead:daffodils breaking ground, soccer fields drying out and players filling them to the brim, spring break lurking around the corner. I think we are finally headed into some warmer, sunny days.

Spring break for Anne Arundel County public school students begins on Tuesday, March 31 and runs through Monday, April 6 with students returning to classes on Wednesday, April 7. March 30 is now a regular school day due to all of the inclement weather closings this winter.
