If you are a fourth- or fifth-grader at Brock Bridge Elementary School, the very popular Rocket Club will start on Friday, March 27. Fourth- and fifth-graders have the opportunity to build model rockets under the supervision of the Rocket Club staff ,and then launch the rockets on Brock BridgeField Day in late May.The Brock Bridge Elementary School Rocket Club is sponsored by the Brock Bridge Elementary School PTA.

Brock Bridge Elementary School participated in Read Across America Week (March 2-6). On Monday of that week, students and teachers celebrated Dr. Seuss's Birthday (March 2) by dressing like a Dr. Seuss character. On Red, White and Read Tuesday, students and teachers wore red and white shirts with words on them. On Wacky Wednesday, students wore a wacky, mismatched outfit to school. Then Thursday and Friday were snow days! The school resumed Read Across America on March 12 with Book Swap Thursday, when students swapped a book with a friend; and ended March 13 with Comfy Friday, when students dressed in their PJs and curled up with their favorite book.
