Laurel mentoring group the Lovely Ladies of Laurel raised $500 for breast cancer awareness at their Oct. 25 L3 5K event at Laurel Lakes.
Celeste Hill, who founded Lovely Ladies of Laurel, and Laurel's Prince George's County School Board member Zabrina Epps presented the check to representatives of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
