In honor of National Volunteer Week (April 12 to 18), we would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank and celebrate the many volunteers whose steadfast dedication and commitment enable Laurel Regional Hospital to fulfill its mission:
Enhance the health and wellness of our patients and communities, providing state-of-the-art clinical care and community leadership with compassion, dignity, and respect.
Their selfless acts of kindness and compassion, both large and small, allow our patients the comfort, companionship and dignity that make all the difference at a most vulnerable point in their lives.
The Laurel Regional Hospital Auxiliary, Inc. was first formed to help create Laurel Regional Hospital. Since its formation, over $3 million have been raised on behalf of the hospital and last year, our volunteers provided almost 25,000 hours of service.
Whether at the bedside of a patient, working in the Gift Shop, at the Information Desk, or giving precious time as a volunteer Chaplain, volunteers are an integral part of our success.
On behalf of our staff and Board of Directors, we offer our sincere thanks for all that our volunteers do each and every day for the patients and families of Laurel Regional Hospital.
We salute them everyday!
