The Laurel Volunteer Fire Department, 7411 Cherry Lane, invites the community to stop by for its annual open house, Sunday, Oct. 13 from noon to 3 p.m.
This year's fire safety theme is Prevent Kitchen Fires. Open house visitors can watch safety demonstrations, check out fire apparatus and equipment and enjoy special activities for kids.
