The Howard County Economic Development Authority announces new board officers elected for a two-year term as of July 1.
William Erskine was elected chairman and Elaine Brown was elected treasurer/secretary
Erskine is an attorney for Offit Kurman, specializing in business and real estate law. His previous position on the board was treasurer/secretary.
Brown, the CFO of Applied Defense Solutions, takes her first leadership position on the EDA board.
Prior Board Chair Cathy Ward, of Corporate Office Properties Trust, will continue to serve as a board member. Chris Myers, of Super Book Deals, will continue as vice chairman of the board.
