Pooches and owners can enjoy a swim at Doggie Dip Day

Dogs and their owners can close out the pool season at Doggie Dip Day, Saturday, Sept. 7, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Laurel Municipal Swimming Pool, Main and Ninth streets.

You and your dog can enjoy a swim in the main pool and wading pool to end the "dog days of summer."

Owners must be able to restrain pets. Admission is $5 per dog. Owners are free. If you have a membership to the dog park, the event is free; limit two dogs per pass. Sponsored by Laurel Parks and Recreation. 301-725-7800 or cityoflaurel.org.
