Laurel police officers will be camped out on the roof of Dunkin' Donuts on Route 1 this weekend to raise funds for Special Olympics Maryland.
During the Cops on Rooftops fundraiser, officers from Laurel Police Department will stay on the roof of the Dunkin' Donuts at 14903 Baltimore Ave., from early morning Saturday, Nov. 2, through mid-day Sunday, Nov. 3, collecting donations, while music, raffles and a moon bounce will help entertain participants.
Donations can also be made at copsonrooftops.com. According to city officials, Laurel police officers raised more than $10,000 at last year's Cops on Rooftops.
