City officials will begin a new season of the outdoor City Hall in the Park public meetings this month, the first of five planned through September.
City Hall in the Park will be held Wednesday, April 22 at Avondale Mill in Riverfront Park, located at the end of Avondale Street off Main Street.
All City Hall in the Park events are held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating.
The meetings begin with an update on activities and projects by elected officials and city government staff, followed by an opportunity for questions and answers. After the meeting, city staff will be available to meet individually with residents.
Other City Hall in the Park meetings are scheduled for May 20 at the Wellington pool house and park; June 22 at the Greenview Drive pool and park; Aug. 26 at Centennial Park; and Sept. 23 at Roland B. Sweitzer Community Park.
