Two Laurel churches to offer free Thanksgiving dinners

Two Laurel churches are offering Thanksgiving dinners at no charge to members of the community.

The United Methodist Women of St. Mark's United Methodist Church invite anyone who is homeless to a Thanksgiving dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at the church, 601 Eighth St.

The St. Mark's UMW offers this dinner each year as part of their community outreach.

On Thanksgiving Day, St. Philip's Episcopal Church will be serving Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 3 p.m. in Wyatt Hall, 522 Main St. Meals will also be available for delivery.
