Stevenson student volunteered at Project Homeless Connect

Bryonna Parker, of Laurel, who is studying criminal justice at Stevenson University, volunteered with the United Way's Project Homeless Connect on Sept. 19 at the Baltimore Connection Center-Inner Harbor.

More than 2,200 homeless individuals attended the event to access services such as housing assistance, medical/dental care, photo identification, haircuts, groceries, government benefits and legal aid.

Stevenson recognized Parker for positively representing the university and its commitment to helping the community.
