R. Michael Gill, state secretary of the Department of Business and Economic Development, will be the keynote speaker at the Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber's 68th annual meeting Thursday, April 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Martin's Crosswinds, 7400 Greenview Center Drive, in Greenbelt. Registration begins at 11 a.m.
Freeman Hrabowski, president of University of Maryland, Baltimore County, will present the BWCC Freeman Hrabowski Visionary Leadership Award to David Hillman, founder and CEO of Southern Management Corporation. The BWCC Business Hall of Fame inductees will be Jennifer Bodensiek, Michael Cryor and Wanda Draper. Election of the BWCC Board of Directors will also be held.
Tickets are $75 for members; $125 for non-members; and $175 at the door for all. Priority seating for tables of 10 are $700 for prepaid members and $1,200 for prepaid non-members.
