The Prince George's County Sheriff's Office Warrant/Fugitive Division arrested George Williams, of Laurel, for first degree assault after a November attack at Williams' workplace in the 4900 block of Holabird Ave. of Baltimore.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Williams was arrested on an arrest warrant that was issued by the Baltimore City Police Department on Nov. 21. The warrant states that Williams argued with a coworker on that day before hitting the coworker with a hammer several times, including on the victim's head. Another coworker grabbed Williams and knocked the hammer from his hand, according to the Sheriff's Office, but Williams broke free and fled with the hammer.
