Pitchfork attack attempted on Laurel Park employee

Anne Arundel County Police said an early morning argument at Laurel Park Monday led an employee to attempt to attack a second employee with a pitchfork.

Police said they were called to Laurel Park around 5:12 a.m., where a 27-year-old track employee said he was in a heated argument with Jose Maria Colindres Salazar, who also works at the track, when Salazar punched him and then charged at him with a pitchfork.
