The sixth annual Scaggsville Pub Crawl was Nov. 25. This year, over 150 women raised $4,300 for the American Heart Association.
The crawl was in Maple Lawn and those involved would like to thank the following restaurants that participated in this — Kloby's Smokehouse BBQ Restaurant & Catering, Facci Wood Fire Pizza and Wine Bar, LaPalapa Too Mexican Grill & Cantina, Ginza of Tokyo Japanese Steak, Seafood & Sushi Bar, the Grille at Maple Lawn, New York J&P Pizza and Looney's Pub South at Maple Lawn.
Several other businesses helped contribute to the event. They were the Greene Turtle; Red Sun Custom Apparel; Bra-la-la; IM Wine; Simply Divine Boutique; Pet Barn in Maple Lawn; Roundabout Wine & Spirits; Lisa Rados Yoga You; Fulton Wine and Spirits; the Happy Yogi; Bell Flowers; We-C-Clean; and the Pearl Spa. Just another example of how so many in our area try and give back to the community.
Success in Style is offering to wrap your gifts as a way to raise funds to support their program. This nonprofit helps the unemployed with interview skills and gives them proper interview clothing. They run Charity's Closet and Phil's Closet and Cherie Amour in the Savage Mill, which is where the gift wrapping takes place all day on Saturday and Sundays.
They will accept gift cards and unwanted clothing gifts on Dec. 26 for their Skip the Lines party. Also, bins are available at the Mill for your convenience. You can sign up with AmazonSmiles so that when you shop, you donate to Success in Style.
