The Bollman Bridge Elementary School community would like to welcome the new assistant principal, Leslie Harmon, to the school.

I have some additions for Back-to-School Nights. Make sure you attend your child's night and meet the teachers. While you are there, join the PTA, meet other parents and find a way to get involved in your child's education. Your children attend some of the top schools in the country, but do not assume they get there just by having wonderful teachers. They need parent support. Talk about their day and what they learned every day. I promise you, it will make a difference in your child's life.

Fulton Elementary's Back-to-School Night is Sept. 15. The event will start with a band introduction at 6:15 p.m., followed by a PTA meeting and then meeting the teachers at 7.

Both nights start at 6 p.m. They will also hold a GT information session at 5 p.m. on Sept. 16. Laurel Woods' are Sept. 16 for K through second grade and Sept. 18 for third to fifth grade.
