On April 29 at the North Laurel Community Center, students from Reservoir High School will perform a dance recital. This will be an intergenerational activity with Senior Center Plus participants and even local day care children.
This idea was created by Morgan Strehl, a Reservoir senior who has learned that over the years, there has been less and less interaction between generations. She is interning at the senior center and wanted to combine her love of dance with working with the older generation. After the dance, the group with share lunch and conversation. Events start at 11 a.m.
The Savage Historical Society will meet on April 20 at 7 p.m. in the F&M Center. The topic for this month is Savage's History as told through the names of its streets. The center's address is 9032 Baltimore St. in Savage.
