The Hammond High Drama Department will present "Seussical the Musical" on March 5 through 7. Tickets are $10 in advance or for students, $12 at the door. There will be a show at 7 p.m. each night and a matinee on March 7 at 2 p.m.
Congratulations to Guilford Elementary School for its very successful fundraising for the American Heart Association though Jump Rope for Heart. The event raised over $6,000. Way to go, Guilford.
Hammond's Golden Bear O'Gala will be held on March 13, 6 to 10 p.m., at the Savage Mill Great Room. Money from this event supports every student at the school, including new uniforms for the dance team this season.
Reservoir High will hold its Gala on March 13, 7:30 to 11:30 p.m., to support the Boosters program at the Gathering Place.
Atholton High School is very proud of Coach Wendall Thomas winning the U.S. Lacrosse's 2014 Gerald Carroll Exemplary Coaching Award. Coach Thomas has taught so many of our students over the years and I know they all join in congratulating him for this award.
