Construction aimed at improving sight lines for drivers entering Harding Road in North Laurel from Scott's Landing Road will begin next Monday, Aug. 26, according to Howard County Government news release.
The county project is expected to be completed in mid-September, weather permitting.
Following utility relocation, a brick wall in the area will be partially removed and reconstructed, according to the elease. Land north of Harding Road, on each side of the intersection, will be slightly regraded in addition to improving stormwater drainage in the area.
The project will also lengthen a deceleration lane and make improvements to an adjacent bus stop area, according to the release.
