Jesse Tubb, 43, an adventure athlete from Laurel, raises his arms in jubilation as he completes 500 miles in 33 1/2 hours as a fundraiser for Ohana of Howard County Inc. By the time he finished the event at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday, his ride had raised more than $11,000 for the new non-profit mentoring program. Tubb did 250 laps around the Columbia Gateway Drive loop, accompanied for most of the ride by cyclist friends who joined him for portions of the two-day challenge. June 28, 2020
