Long Reach exploded for 10 runs in the first inning and never looked back in its run-rule victory. Jeremy Huffman started the scoring with an RBI single and then gave way for a trio of hitters that combined for 11 of the Lightning's 15 hits on the afternoon. John Shupe went 5-for-5 with five singles, while Alex King had four hits in five at-bats and drove in three runs. K.J. Jarrett (2-for-3) also had three RBIs. Tad Henley hit a solo home run for the Gladiators in the fifth inning to extend the game, but Long Reach clinched the win with a run of their own in the bottom half of the frame.

Marriotts Ridge bounced back from its loss to Howard by defeating Mt. Hebron for the second time this season. The Mustangs got out to a 5-0 lead through three innings. The Vikings tied the game with five runs in the fifth but immediately gave back the lead in the bottom of the frame and fell further behind in the sixth. Dylan Anagnos continued to scorch the ball at the plate for Marriotts Ridge, going 4-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored. Gavin Ross, meanwhile, had two hits and two RBIs.

In River Hill's first at-bat, Tucker Finkelston launched a solo shot that gave the Hawks a lead it would not relinquish. Finkelston led the way at the plate, going 3-for-3 with four RBIs for a team that racked up 15 hits. Danny Selby, Alex Florenzo and Anthony Richards — the fourth, fifth and sixth batters in the River Hill lineup — all had three hits. It marks the third time in the past four games that the Hawks have put up at least 12 runs.

Howard remained in sole possession of first place in the county standings by slugging out a win over Atholton. Junior Ryan Kulick started on the mound and went four innings, giving up three runs (two earned). At the plate, he went 2-for 2-with a double, two walks and four RBIs. Senior Matt Flynn also had 2 hits and two RBIs, while junior Aidan O'Connor had two hits and drove home two runs.

Marriotts Ridge's Megan Hughes allowed two hits and three walks and struck out three in four innings to earn the win. Madi Costigan (2-4, 2 R, 3 RBI), Molly Nies (3-4, 2 R, RBI), Mikayla Barnard (4-4, 2 R), and Megan Hughes (2-2, R, RBI) all had multiple hits for the Mustangs. Ashleigh Gerber and Grace Tolle had two RBIs each.

Glenelg's Sage Huber had two hits and Jordyn Woodling went 1-1 with a walk.

Hammond's Brittany Brewer got the shutout win, pitching four innings and allowing one hit while striking out six. Jordan Rodriguez came in for the final inning. Taylor Liguori 2-4 with a single, home run and three RBIs, Jordan Rodriguez went 2-4 with two doubles, and Brittany Brewer went 2-4 with two singles.

Stella Johnson had the only hit for Wilde Lake.

River Hill's Allie Wilson pitched a two hitter and struck out eight in a complete game shutout. On Senior Day, both seniors — Crystal Lin and Chloe Lee — had doubles at the plate. It was Lee's first hit on the season. Other doubles were by Delanie Vintz and Stefanie Gronlund.

Howard's Becky Merson was the winning pitcher, racking up four strikeouts and allowing one hit. Shanya Gordon went 2-2 with a home run with two RBIs, Becky Merson went 2-3 with three RBIs, Emily Polimeni went 2-3 with a double, and Ashlyn Moynihan went 2-2 with two RBIs.
