The Vikings lost guard JC McCorn, who averaged 10.6 points last season, but return their leading scorer in junior guard Brandon Prox. He scored double digits in 12 of 23 games, which included putting up 28 and 25 points in consecutive contests early in the year.

Junior guard Yassin Omer, meanwhile, ended last season as the team’s most consistent scorer by reaching double-digit points in the final four games.

Coach Michael Linsenmeyer also mentioned senior forward Alex Nazaire and junior Ryan Kinloch as players to watch for a team he believes should have a balanced attack and a deep bench.

The Vikings open the season with a road game against Catonsville on Wednesday.
