Wilde Lake (5-3) bounced back from a loss to earn its second shutout of the season in a 36-0 win at Mt. Hebron (2-6) on Oct. 21.
Anthony Jenkins (15 carries, 107 yards) and Stanley Kirkland (10 carries, 85 yards) combined for three touchdowns, while the Wildecats' special teams did the rest. Tyrell Barnes opened the scoring with a 15-yard touchdown return on a blocked punt, and Ostia Smith followed with a 70-yard punt return in a 22-point second quarter. Daquan Pridget had an interception for Wilde Lake's defense that also blocked three punts.
Glenelg (6-2) scored at least one touchdown in all four quarters to beat Marriotts Ridge (4-4) on Oct. 21, 35-13.
Gladiators running back Wande Owens accounted for more than 80 percent of the team's offense, as he ran for 303 yards and three scores on 31 carries, including touchdown runs of 12, 77 and 72 yards. Connor Stanley added a 34-yard interception return and Noah Williamson scored on a 35-yard run in the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach.
Mustangs kicker Troy Hettinger had two field goals of 39 and 30 yards, while quarterback Mason Pung threw a 30-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter.
Oakland Mills (4-4) won its second in a row by hammering winless Hammond (0-8), 40-16.
The Scorpions' 40 points is a season high, and they have scored 60 points in the last two weeks after tallying just 13 in the previous three contests combined.
Offensive Player of the Week*: Devin Dawkins, Howard.
Dawkins earns the honor after carrying the Lions' offense for much of their 14-7 win over Long Reach. He ran for a touchdown and 182 yards on a season-high 34 carries, accounting for more than 70 percent of Howard's offense against one of the top defenses in the league.

Defensive Player of the Week*: Bryson Craven, Howard.
Craven, in his first action since fracturing his ankle in Week 2, showed how valuable he is to Howard's defense by intercepting two passes against Long Reach in a one-score victory. His first pick came in the red zone, and his second came late in the fourth quarter and set up the game-winning touchdown drive.
