River Hill turned in another stellar defensive effort on Wednesday night, holding Hammond to 12 first-half points and 33 points overall in a blowout victory.

Senior Micah Henry scored 19 points but was one of just four Golden Bears to score. The Hawks, meanwhile, received 19 points from Ryan Marshall and at least seven points from three other players. Their balanced scoring attack helped them take control of the game from the onset, jumping out to a 15-6 lead at the end of the first quarter and extending that advantage to double digits by halftime.

With the win, the Hawks are now 6-2 in their past eight county games.
