Field Hockey aerials with Glenelg's Stephanie Asher [Sports Breakdown]

The Glenelg field hockey team has established itself as one of the state's powerhouse programs, rattling off three consecutive state titles and finishing each of those seasons undefeated in county play.

This year's squad brings back a wealth of talent, including four players that made first-team all-county in 2012. Stephanie Asher, a rising senior forward, is among that group and has made first or second team in each of her three high school seasons.

Last fall, Asher tallied 25 goals and 11 assists. She scored in 13 of the team's 18 games and drew high praise from her coach, Ginger Kincaid, following the year. "She is a great finisher, a really good dodger. She just has great stick skills," Kincaid said.

For her career, Asher has 65 goals and 16 assists.
