The Howard County Public School System has partnered with Leadership Howard County, the school system announced this week, in order to provide leadership development skills and community service opportunities for students and staff.
County schools have long had a relationship with Leadership Howard County, the organization that provides leadership training for men and women in the county.
With the partnership, Leadership Howard County will encourage high school juniors to participate in Leadership U, its youth leadership program. The school system will provide support for Leadership Howard County programs and will host participants from Leadership Premier, a program for local professionals, during Principal Shadow Day.
