Tessa More scored three goals as Glenelg Country School defeated IAAM B Conference foe Annapolis Area Christian School, 3-2, on Senior Recognition Day. Thursday's game was the last home game of the regular season for the Dragons.

It seemed only fitting that More, a senior attack, scored a hat trick.

Two of her goals came within 44 seconds of each other. The first tally occurred when More collected a loose ball off the goalie's pads.

Her second score came when she redirected Megan Hooper's shot from the top of the circle.

Annapolis Area Christian scored its first goal at the 17:38 mark of the second half. More tallied again two-and-a-half minutes later, finishing off Gabi Hernendez's shot on goal to give the Dragons a 3-1 lead.

Annapolis Area closed the gap by scoring on a penalty stroke with 11:47 remaining in the game.

"We held on for the win with strong play by midfielders Tokunbo Olaniyan, Julia Sheehan, and defenders Koko Etokebe, Shagun Kathuria and Olivia Dwelley," said Glenelg Country School coach Jessica Dolan.

The three defenders are all seniors.
