Mt. Hebron field hockey defeats River Hill, 4-2, to keep title hopes alive

With a 4-2 victory over River Hill on Monday, Mt. Hebron is one win away from the Howard County field hockey title. The Vikings and Glenelg have 9-1 county records. If both teams win Tuesday, they will share the county title.

Mt. Hebron has the more difficult opponent in archrival Centennial; Glenelg faces Long Reach.

Two goals by Katie Anderson helped fuel the Vikings' win over River Hill.  Monica Linn goal came on a penalty stroke.

Erin Barker and Dani Schwab scored for the Hawks on their Senior Day.
