Glenelg and Marriotts Ridge won their games Tuesday afternoon to finish the county season with identical 10-1 records. An Atholton victory over Long Reach on Wednesday would mean a three-way tie for the county title.

It is Marriotts Ridge's first county field hockey title and Glenelg's 15th since 1987 and seventh in a row. It would be Atholton's second county hockey title. The Raiders tied with Centennial in 1995.
