Speaking of West Friendship Elementary. Congratulations to the school's band teacher, Amy Syversen, who along with her husband Eric welcomed new baby girl Addison Catherine on May 22. Addison was welcomed home that very evening by her big sister Camden. Students and band parents at West Friendship know how organized Amy is as an instructor. Giving birth was no different as she drove home after the students concert rehearsal, headed to the hospital, gave birth and was home seven hours later. Congratulations to the Syversen family.
