Book launch by Conway-Jones draws a crowd [West Friendship]

"Better Than Ever" — and then some. Kenya Conway-Jones held a book launch and signing at Players Grill in Marriottsville, with an enthusiastic crowd of local well wishers in attendance.

Conway-Jones newly published book, titled "Better Than Ever" is a positive, powerful and life-changing guide on "how to improve your results, live a happier life and attract everything you deserve."

Conway-Jones has had a full and successful career as a teacher at Burleigh Manor Middle School and as a self-propelled entrepreneur with a variety of ventures, but it is as a life coach and motivational speaker that Kenya has found her true passion. It is with this career that she was inspired to write the book.

Kenya's daughter Tyler assisted her mother with doling out freshly signed copies of the book. Conway-Jones' husband Pless beamed with pride. Local residents Sheila and Bill Conway, parents of the author, were on hand to greet guests at the book signing.

Among the crowd was a flurry of western county folks, many of whom knew each other from the early days in the 1980's back at West Friendship Elementary. Kenya's best friend Bunmi Moore, whom she has known since the second grade at West Friendship Elementary, acted as the mistress of ceremonies. Local resident Karen Darden, another "old school" pal was on hand to rally encouragement and enthusiasm as was Kenya's sister, Kristi Conway.
