China Williams, vice president of the Triadelphia Ridge Elementary School PTA wants folks to know that a Meet the Candidates 2018 forum is set for March 6, from 6:15 to 9 p.m. at Linden Hall, 4765 Dorsey Hall Drive, Ellicott City. Not to be missed if you are a fan of bargains. The Marriotts Ridge High School Mustang Flea Market is in full gear. The sale, which benefits the vocal and instrumental music programs, is often nicknamed "too big to be called a yard sale.” The large-scale indoor flea market is set for March 3, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Rain or shine, the sale will be brimming with table tops loaded with household and sporting goods, electronics, baby items, clothing, collectibles, tools, toys, seasonal items and all the goodies one associates with a big old flea market. I have a good sense that local antique car enthusiast John Goodman will be part of the crowd headed to the Howard County fairgrounds in West Friendship on March 10, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. when the Chesapeake Region Antique Automobile Club holds its Antique Car, Truck and Cycle flea market. Other events include an antique vehicle car corral. Free admission and parking.
