Mark you calendar for Jan. 22, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., when the monthly St. Andrews Episcopal Church dinners start up again. Dine in or carry out. It's an Italian Feast with all the trimmings.
Cost is $9 per person or $30 per family, no matter how many folks make up the family unit. Proceeds from the first dinner of the new year benefit the education fund for the children of Tom Palermo, whose life ended suddenly and tragically on Dec. 27 when he was hit by a car while riding his bike in Baltimore.
In an attempt to ease the burden on his family, the proceeds raised from the feast will benefit the education fund for his children. Funds can also be sent to http://www.youcaring.com/tuition-fundraiser/children-of-tom-palermo/283939 or to Palermo Children's Educational Trust c/o Molloy Investment Group, Stifel Nicholas, One South St., 30th Floor, Baltimore, Md. 21202.
St. Andrew's is at 2892 Route 97 in Glenwood. Questions? Call Lynne Hall Quinn at 410-292-8202. The dinner is donated by Smokin' Hot Grille in Glenwood.
