Markets and movies offered throughout the summer [Marriottsville/Sykesville/Woodstock]

It's that time of year again to start thinking about fresh fruits and vegetables. The Sykesville Farmers Market has returned and will run every Sunday this summer from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in downtown Sykesville. Come and get your fill of locally produced fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs and dairy, as well as homemade foods and crafts. Most weekends, live entertainment will be provided and don't forget to check out the great shops and restaurants. For more information, visit www.sykesvillemainstreet.com.

Every Thursday this summer, Turf Valley Town Square will be hosting its free concert series from 6:30 to 8 p.m. On June 9, come down to hear the sounds of pop hits and radio goodness from the '70s when The 1974 performs. On June 16, The Crawdaddies will play sounds from the Louisiana Bayou and on June 23, The Klassix will play danceable, top 40 tunes. Come out and enjoy free music while enjoying the shops and restaurants at Turf Valley Towne Square. For more information, visit its site on Facebook.
