At conservancy, a guide to the Lunar New Year [Marriottsville/Sykesville/Woodstock]

The Howard County Conservancy offers guided tours, hikes and talks the second Saturday of every month. Come and join the festivities with the Asian Cultural Traditions: Celebrating Nature with Wendy Ng and Kyong Parker on Saturday, Feb. 14, at 10 a.m.

You will learn about the Lunar New Year and how it is celebrated by people all around the world. Some traditions consist of flowers, special foods and games played throughout homes. Preparing for the New Year means out with the old and in with the new with organizing and cleaning out stuff you no longer need.
