Students at Reservoir High School are a caring bunch. For example, the students in Marisa Willman's Spanish IV classes recently completed their "Gators Helping Guatemala" fundraiser. It was a rousing success.
The students raised the several hundred dollars needed to support a Guatemalan named Pedro Antonio, a 10th grade student who enjoys soccer and whose favorite subject is math. They have written Pedro a letter and are looking forward to his response.
These kids also raised some additional funds that were donated to the Mayan Families' general fund, which supports preschool and nutrition programs in the community of Panajachel, Guatemala.
Marisa, you and your students are top-notch. Thanks for reaching out and making a difference in the lives of others.
The Fulton Elementary School "Kids for Character" for the month of April are: Kindergarten: Giselle Valladares; 1st Grade: Sarah Moore; 2nd Grade: Donovan Hall: 3rd Grade: Sophia Cramer; and 4th Grade: Connor Fleming. Congratulations to all of you.
Congratulations to all of our graduates. Be safe. Don't be afraid to take (educated) risks. Work outside your comfort zone.
