The cyber robotics team took third place. Congratulations to all of the students and to their sponsor, Dan Rosewag.

Three consecutive wins. That's a great start for the girls' JV softball team at Reservoir High School.

As of the writing of this column, their recent win was against the Hawks of River Hill with the score of 7 to 4. Some key plays included a key double to center field by Jessica Phipps; teammates Emma Bailey, Jessica Whitehead and Katy Wnuk-Fink all stole home; and Sarah Dixon hit in an RBI.

Pitcher Emma Bailey had a great game with 7 strikeouts; Kristen Loo caught a fly ball at second and tossed it over to Rachel Hahn for a double-play.

The Hawks rallied late in the game, but their hopes were dashed when Katy Wnuk-Fink caught two consecutive foul balls to end the game.

Congratulations to the Lady Gators and to their coaches Sarah Ragusa and Jimmy Ragusa.
