In a little less than a month, the Boosters Club of Reservoir High School will hold its 13th annual Gator Gala. The date is Friday, March 13, and the location is the Gathering Place at 6120 Day Long Lane in Clarksville.
Some of the silent auction items include those made by RHS students. You won't have to miss any of the March Madness Games either — you'll be able to watch the action live on TV. Tickets are now available at rhsboosters.com/gala/
The Lime Kiln Middle School students of the week for the week ending Jan. 30 are Sabrina Zaleski, Madeleine Barrett, Samuel Bos, Mai Vo, Ethan Seo, Brooke Robertson, Tiffany Baako, James-Michael Musser and Emma Golus.
Reservoir High School seniors Nik Meuschke, Chris Roarty and Kris Westland finished their high school hockey careers by helping the Gators skate past 1st place Centennial High School in a 7 - 2 win. The game remained scoreless halfway through the 1st period when Ty Teodori, assisted by Cameron Hyder and Chris Moon, put one past the Eagles' net minder. Then Ben Williams, assisted by senior Chris Roarty, scored another point to increase the lead with under two minutes remaining in the 1st. The Eagles answered with a couple of goals. In the 2nd period, Reservoir's Cameron Hyder widened the gap with a Hat Trick (assisted by Nik Meuschke, Willie Watts and Ben Williams) to end the 2nd period with a score of 5-2. Action in the 3rd period saw the Gators add two more goals, one by Willie Watts, assisted by Naveed Nekoo and Ben Williams, and the other by senior Nik Meuschke, assisted by Chris Moon. The Gators had 38 shots on Eagles net while senior goalie Kris Westland faced shots. Congratulations to the team and to their coaches Matty Valvano and John Perfetto and Student Managers Brittney Hoover and Chloe Atkinson.
