Last summer, 19-year old Trevor Pozoulakis first auditioned for the NBC television show "The Voice" in New York.
While the Howard Community College student didn't make the final cut with his rendition of "Sunday Morning" by Maroon 5, the aspiring singer has been invited to try out again. On Saturday, June 7, the Ellicott City resident will head to the Washington, D.C., convention center, where he'll compete for a coveted spot as one of "The Voice" finalists.
"I am planning to sing one of these three songs — 'All of Me' by John Legend, 'Say Something' by A Great Big World and 'Me and My Broken Heart by Rixton,' " said the budding vocalist.
Pozoulakis hopes his audition will help him "gain exposure in the music industry and become a national recording artist."
While he waits for fame to come his way, the 2012 Centennial High school graduate will continue his college education while working at Canada Dry Potomac Corp. and singing vocals in local bands. Follow him on Facebook at "Trevor Pozoulakis" to learn about his upcoming local performances.
Good luck Trevor at "The Voice" auditions!
