Teens! Stretch your reading habits by sampling multiple genres and subjects in the "Level Up" series at the library. Gain XP (experience points) by participating in discussions and hands-on activities. XP will be exchanged for prizes in last session. Perhaps you prefer to write your own stories? Celebrate the power of stories and your imagination in the "Teen Writing Workshop" at the Elkridge Branch library. Learn to craft well developed characters, settings, and real dialogue. Create conflict and explore the basics of plotting in your writer's notebook. Hone your skills through peer coaching. Come learn about Sounds Around the World on Tuesday, March 24, from 7 to 8 p.m. Sounds Around the World is an arts-integrated geography game combining the universal love of music with the thrill of team competition. Children! Lisa Phillips from Celebrate Us Gift Baskets will teach you how to design and stage gift baskets for your friends and family.
