Congratulations to Triadlephia Sparks Pathfinder team on coming home with a First Place trophy in national Pathfinder Bible Experience (Bible Bowl) competition. This year's team members are Captain Jeffrey Berglund, Christopher Berglund, Mimi Klingbeil, Sarah Klingbeil, Andrew Remmers and Kari Remmers.
The Sparks always seem to come home with a First Place. I asked coach Sharon Crews how often this is true. Sharon says she's lost track, but quickly recalled at least five times in the past ten years and thinks they always qualify for national competition though each near presents a different team of youngsters ages 10-15.
The Atholton Faith-Blazers Pathfinder team of Abby Tolbert, Afia Ntansah, Adjoia Ntansah, Daedre Marsden, JaDa (capital D is correct) Woodley and Peris Munene under coach Rae Tunney also scored a national First Place. This is possible because First Place is awarded on the basis of overall scores allowing multiple winners of First Place.
Congratulations to both teams on acheiving high scores. The degree of knowlege demonstrated is most impressive.
